Thomas has negotiated with exclusive rights for Fortune 500 companies, including Motorola, Xerox, The Travelers, Union Carbide, Louisiana Pacific, Gerber Foods, North American Van Lines, TRW, Kraft Foods, Rayovac, and John Hancock Insurance. He has successfully negotiated over 700 facility transactions across the United States.
Thomas worked for eight successful years at Coldwell Banker Commercial (CBRE). As a Senior National Broker he sourced Fortune 500 accounts for CBRE, then established the regional teams to service those accounts across the U.S.
CAREER HIGHLIGHTS
Thomas has negotiated alongside Partners from top-10 global law firms, including DLA Piper in their corporate headquarters at Rockefeller Center in New York regarding European industrial land sites for worldwide distribution centers. He also negotiated alongside the Partners of the law firm of K&L Gates regarding land sites for the development of a large retail and entertainment center at a major European airport and other industrial sites. The former Mayor of Chicago, Richard M. Daley invited Thomas to advise in private Olympic committee meetings regarding land sites for Chicago’s bid for the Olympics. The former Chairman of IBM appointed Thomas to IBM’s Gold List of the Top 100 Providers in Europe. He also advised the U.S. Ambassador to Panama regarding a land site for real estate development along the Panama Canal. Thomas has directed global teams comprised of architects, engineers and attorneys, negotiated internationally, and worked with best-in-class corporations globally. Thomas holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Urban & Regional Land Use Planning from the University of Utah.
