PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

Mary O’Reilly Werge serves as the Executive Assistant at ICG Chicago, where she provides high-level administrative and operational support to the firm’s Managing Principal and brokerage team at large. In this role, Mary oversees scheduling, financial processes, and internal systems while ensuring the seamless execution of day-to-day business operations. She plays a key role in supporting brokerage activity, including managing property listings, maintaining CRM databases, coordinating marketing initiatives, and conducting market research across national and Chicagoland industrial real estate sectors. Additionally, she supports financial reporting, accounting, invoicing, and lease administration, and serves as a liaison with clients, vendors, and municipal entities.

Throughout her career, Mary has demonstrated a consistent ability to support leadership through strong organizational management, attention to detail, and proactive problem-solving. At ICG Chicago, she has contributed to improved operational efficiency by streamlining workflows, enhancing data and file management systems, and supporting the firm’s brokerage and marketing efforts. Her work includes coordinating complex financial and administrative processes, maintaining accurate reporting and contact databases, and supporting client outreach through targeted communications and digital platforms.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

Prior to joining ICG Chicago, Mary held an Executive Administrative role with DPO Consulting and Investing, where she supported business operations across finance, human resources, and research. Her professional background also includes experience in Education and Hospitality, contributing to her strong organizational skills, adaptability, and client-focused approach. 

Mary attended Marquette University as an Evans Scholar and earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and Spanish from Northeastern Illinois University. She went on to complete a Master of Science in Bilingual Bicultural Instruction. 

In addition to her professional accomplishments, Mary is actively engaged in community service and volunteering. She serves as a mentor with Big Brothers Big Sisters and volunteers with various organizations including Chicago Police Memorial Foundation. Outside of work, Mary enjoys travel, art, live music, animals, and trivia.
